evidanza combines analytics, planning, reporting and automation in a flexible and scalable CPM platform. It provides companies with a consistent data foundation that enables them to identify developments at an early stage, manage processes transparently and make informed decisions in order to support sustainable growth.
Flexible Business Planning
evidanza empowers companies to create planning models that can be dynamically adapted to their organizational structures and operational processes. These include sales, procurement, investment, marketing, workforce, financial and liquidity planning. Forecasts, scenarios and workflows support integrated, transparent and traceable planning processes.
Transparency for Finance and Controlling
Financial data from different systems is consolidated, automated and presented in a clear visual format. Key figures relating to revenue, costs, liquidity and cash flow are made centrally available for dashboards, reports and analyses.
Data Integration and Automation
evidanza integrates heterogeneous data sources and reduces manual effort through automated data processing and the consistent provision of information across the organisation.

evidanza has been part of the CSS Group since 2022. Combined with CSS’s eGECKO business software, evidanza provides an integrated solution for financial management and corporate performance management. At the same time, the evidanza platform can be used independently of eGECKO and connected to other ERP and source systems.

Provider and product description
evidanza was established in 2004 as a software vendor developing its own solutions for business intelligence, business planning, and corporate performance management. The company is based in Straubing, Germany, claims to have about 20-30 employees, and currently serves more than 275 clients, predominantly in the DACH region. In 2022, evidanza was acquired by CSS, a German business software provider focused on integrated solutions for accounting, controlling, and HR in local and multinational SMEs. CSS employs over 350 people and serves around 3,000 clients in various industries.
evidanza operates as an independent subsidiary of the CSS Group. The product can be used with the eGECKO – CSS’ ERP software – or as a standalone application with non-CSS applications. Together, evidanza and eGECKO offer companies an integrated business management solution. Within the CSS portfolio, evidanza is marketed as eGECKO CPM.
evidanza offers tools for business intelligence (BI) and analytics, business planning, and business process management (BPM) as well as a middleware solution that integrates systems (data.Synapse). The core evidanza product is a flexible platform with capabilities for building individual BI, analytics, and planning applications. With no specific market or industry focus, evidanza targets mid-sized companies requiring an integrated reporting, analysis, and planning platform. The platform is feature-rich and can be configured individually. It provides comprehensive functionality for top-down and bottom-up planning including workflow and monitoring features.
evidanza can either be used with Microsoft SQL Server as the underlying database or with the vendor’s own proprietary in-memory database. Using SQL Server, evidanza can access any source system with SQL Server’s Integration Services ETL product. However, administration and particularly ETL are relatively technical and typically require support from IT or tech-savvy business users. Wizards support modeling of business and structural models as well as planning structures in SQL Server. Business departments can manage ongoing operations as well as build planning models, sub-budgets, and budget templates on their own. With the vendor’s proprietary in-memory database, evidanza can be used with any relational database, which serves as a data store to persist the in-memory data. For example, existing customer implementations use Microsoft, Oracle, or SAP HANA.
Using its own proprietary in-memory database, evidanza can also integrate with Microsoft Power BI for planning scenarios. evidanza planning screens can be integrated in Power BI’s user interface at front-end level. At data level, planned figures in evidanza are transferred to the Power BI data model and are therefore available in Power BI reports and analyses.

Challenges
- Overall, evidanza has a slow speed of development compared to competitors. According to feedback in The Planning Survey 26, it is rarely used in innovative use cases such as AI-powered planning.
- Customer feedback reveals that some users are dissatisfied with evidanza's self-service capabilities and ease of use. Some customers have said that the software could be more intuitive and user-friendly, while others have even reported unreliable software behavior.
- evidanza is a comparatively small and local specialist vendor with limited resources, strongly focused on its home market in the DACH region. Prospects should evaluate the vendor’s and partners’ consulting and support capabilities for project implementations.

Geben Sie dem Produkt genug Zeit für die Einführung und prüfen Sie die Voraussetzungen, insbesondere die Definitionen von Schnittstellen und Quellsystemen.
