Profile
Robert brings together two things that rarely sit in the same person: hands-on experience in controlling and in implementing a wide range of CPM and BI products, plus a deep understanding of the market as an analyst. Before BARC, he worked as a Senior Consultant at Vector and MIS Group (now Infor) and in controlling at IG Immobilien. For more than 10 years he has advised companies across all industries on their CPM and BI decisions.

What’s the coolest thing about your job at BARC?
That I get to move between market research, consulting, and new tech every day, and keep learning things I can actually use to help my clients.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Knowing where AI goes next, from agentic AI in controlling to what the big AI players do, all the way to autonomous drones.
What is your favorite food?
Viennese with a soft spot for Italy, so: a sweet pastry, and an espresso right after.
How did you come to BARC?
I’d been reading and relying on BARC research for 10 years before I joined. The rest was a few lucky coincidences.
