Participate in our surveys to ensure your voice is heard in our studies. As a participant in our expert panel, you’ll get exclusive access to survey results and be eligible for further discounts.

If you would like to submit a review for a specific product, please answer the questions in the appropriate customer feedback survey (Data Management, BI & Analytics, Planning, Financial Consolidation).

The Planning Survey

The Planning Survey is the world’s largest survey on the selection and use of planning, budgeting and forecasting software. BARC’s annual survey gathers input from a large number of organizations to better understand their buying decisions, implementation cycles and the business benefits they achieve.

The Planning Survey is strictly vendor-independent: BARC does not accept vendor sponsorship of the survey, and the results are analyzed and published without any vendor involvement.

Business and technical users, as well as consultants, are all welcome to participate. You will be able to answer questions on your use of a planning product from any vendor.

Your answers will be used anonymously, and your personal details will never be passed on to vendors or other third parties. Further information on data protection can be found on our website.

As a participant, you will

Receive a summary of the results from the survey
Ensure that your experiences are included in the final analyses
Be entered into a draw to win one of ten tickets for the BARC Finance & Controlling Summit in Würzburg on March 18-19, 2026
Be entered into a draw to win one of ten $50 Amazon vouchers
