(Junior) Account Manager (m/f/d)

You inspire our customers – leading software providers and service providers in the field of data & analytics – with your expertise, commitment and personality.
What you'll be working on
- You will get to know all facets of our sales department: from conferences and studies to consulting.
- You will advise our customers by phone, create individual offers and take care of their follow-up.
- You contact new business contacts from trade fair leads, website registrations, marketing campaigns or via social media – and convince them with your expertise.
- You develop and carry out sales campaigns, e.g. for studies and events, gradually take over your own customer accounts and actively contribute to the achievement of targets.
- You will work with our CRM system (e.g. HubSpot) and further develop your knowledge of it.
What you offer us
You have the following qualities and qualifications:
- Completed training (e.g. commercial) or studies (e.g. business administration, marketing or comparable).
- Structured, results-oriented approach to working as well as strong communication and thinking skills.
- Team player with customer orientation, sales affinity and professional appearance.
- Initial experience in a B2B environment, ideally in the software, services or IT sector.
- Interest in complex topics and enthusiasm for data & analytics.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) is an advantage.

Your working day could look like this
08:30 – Start the day in your home office or office: check emails, update to-dos in the CRM, briefly compare notes with your sales team via a Teams call
09:30 – Prepare a quote for an event package and get feedback from an experienced colleague
11:00 – Initial telephone contact with a new lead from a marketing campaign – you introduce BARC to
13:00 – Focus time for research: You analyze potential new customers on LinkedIn and enter the results into our CRM system
14:30 – You accompany a customer phone call from a colleague and formulate the follow-up by email
16:00 – Team meeting in Sales: review the week, share successes, clarify questions
17:00 – Last check of open tasks in CRM, brief preparation for tomorrow – and then: closing time!
