(Senior) Key Account Executive (m/f/d)

Then you’ve come to the right place! To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed (Senior) Key Account Executive (m/f/d) who will work with us to inspire our customers – leading software manufacturers and service providers in the data & analytics environment.
What you'll be working on
- Support and further development of existing customer relationships in the areas of software & IT services
- Strategic customer advice on all aspects of our services: Conferences, studies, consulting formats and market research surveys
- Identification of new potential as well as cross-selling and upselling
- Independent responsibility for customer development and sales target achievement
- Collaboration with our specialist departments (Research, Events, Consulting) to implement tailor-made solutions for our customers
- Active involvement in the design of marketing concepts and campaigns
What you offer us
You have the following qualities and qualifications:
- Experience in a B2B customer environment, ideally in the software, services or IT industry
- Team player with a strong customer and sales orientation and a professional, engaging demeanor
- Structured, results-oriented way of working, strong communication skills and strategic thinking
- Affinity for complex topics and interest in data & analytics
- Experience in working with CRM systems (e.g. Hubspot)
- Very good German and English language skills (fluent written and spoken) required

Your working day could look like this
08:30 – Coffee and short check-in with the events team for a new customer conference
09:15 – Follow-up call with a software company on an upcoming market research project
11:00 – Strategy meeting with the consulting team on the further development of a customer account
13:00 – Time for focus work: customer analysis & proposal preparation
15:00 – Appointment with a new data analytics provider and presentation of BARC products
17:30 – Follow-up on your tasks and closing time
