5 questions to Herbert Stauffer
What are you reading right now?
I like the well researched historical novels by Rebecca Gablé and Daniel Wolf. Also, the classic authors we all hated in school: Thomas Mann, Goethe, Gottfried Keller, Theodor Storm, Jeremias Gotthelf, Tolstoy, etc.
What’s the coolest thing about your job at BARC?
I really appreciate the variety of travel and office work while always meeting new people and companies. It always surprises me how quickly you can come up with solutions when you’re an outsider to a company and have a fresh perspective without preconceptions when analyzing the situation.
How long have you been with BARC?
Since late 2013, when BARC Schweiz GmbH was founded.
What’s your next travel destination?
My next trip is – once again – going to be to Scandinavia. We’re planning to visit the south of Sweden and Norway. I love traveling in general. So when I look at my wish list of destinations, I think I’ll need to live to about 200.
What is your favorite food?
I’m very curious in general when it comes to food and like to try new things. That’s probably a side-effect of my love of travel. I do draw the line at grilled insects and seafood, though.
