What do you like best?

Facilité à mettre en place des scenarii et de modifier des données hypothèses communes à plusieurs projets. Possibilité de centraliser les données et permet d'éviter l'utilisation d'Excel/PowerBI.

What do you like least/what could be improved?

L'outil est très complexe à prendre en main et nécessite un temps d'adaptation important. Pris en main difficile à mon sens pour un utilisateur n'ayant jamais fait de modélisation auparavant.

Super produit avec beaucoup de potentiel une fois la maitrise acquise.

Fokus auf die treiberbasierte Abbildung der Planung zur einfachen Diskussion der strategischen Entwicklung eines Unternehmens.

Komplexe Treibermodelle (die dann aber auch zu detailliert sind) führen zu Performance-Problemen.

Einfach anfangen - Dabei die Umstellung des Gesamtprozesses und die andere Diskussion von Inhalten immer auch im Fokus haben. Die Umstellung ist ein Change Prozess.

How would you sum up your experience?

Flexibles Tool, dass verschiedenste Geschäftsmodelle einfach simulieren und zu einer Konzernsicht integrieren kann.

Am besten über einen PoC annähern - der Support von Valsight dabei ist sehr gut.

How would you sum up your experience?

Software, welche die Arbeitsweise in Teilbereichen der Finanzfunktion stark verändert hat. Eine wirklich flächige Nutzung konnte bisher aber noch nicht erreicht werden.

Einfachheit, Flexibilität und Planungstransparenz. Verwaltung durch Fachbereich. Fokus auf den Grundbausteinen moderner Planungssysteme: werttreiberbasierter Planung und Simulationsmöglichkeiten.

What do you like least/what could be improved?

Visualisierungen beinhalten noch einige technische Limitierungen (Invertierte Summenanzeige, Bart Chart Gruppierungen, Filtern von Slidern, Fixierte Chart Anzeige, etc.).

What key advice would you give to other companies looking to introduce/use the product?

Sich genau zu überlegen, wie Valsight in die eigene Planungslandschaft passt, da der Fokus auf der Simulation von Szenarien anhand von Werttreiberbäumen liegt. Eine operative Planung bzw. Budgetierung im bottom-up Approach lässt sich mit Valsight schlecht bis gar nicht umsetzen (ist aber auch nicht der Produktfokus).

How would you sum up your experience?

Vom ersten Kontakt bis zum Go-live eine durchweg positive Erfahrung, die durch kurze Kommunikationswege, pragmatische Lösungsumsetzung und einen persönlich sehr angenehmen Austausch gekennzeichnet war. Valsight ist für unseren Use Case zur Szenarioplanung und Target Setting auf aggregierter Ebene die beste verfügbare Lösung am Markt.

Szenariosimulation auf Basis von Treibermodellen. Die Treibermodelle sind dabei ohne tieferes technisches Know-How erstellbar. Daten lassen sich einfach via Excel Importieren. Zudem ermöglichen Schnittstellen den Datenabzug aus Valsight zurück in Excel oder Power BI.

Nötigen Freiraum, um Treibermodelle auf Basis seines Geschäftsmodells zu erstellen. Projektmitarbeiter sollten Daten strukturieren können und die Quellsysteme kennen.

How would you sum up your experience?

Ideals Werkzeug, um treiberbasierte Planungen abzubilden und Ursache-Wirkungsketten des Geschäftsmodells anhand von Szenariosimulationen und der damit einhergehenden Maßnahmen zu visualisieren.

Im Wesentlichen die Ablösung der alten Planungsverfahren auf transparentere Treibermodelle, bei gleichzeitig deutlich erhöhter Simulations- und Szenarienfähigkeit.

Bessere Statusübersicht bei mehreren autarken Planungseinheiten, die dann zu einem Konzern(ergebnis) zusammengefasst werden müssen.

What key advice would you give to other companies looking to introduce/use the product?

Einfach anfangen, Konzentration auf wenige Kennzahlen, und dann bei Bedarf erweitern. Agiler Ansatz ggü. erst langwierigem Fach- und IT-Konzept.

How would you sum up your experience?

Erfordert, sich auf eine treiberbasierte Planung ein- und umzustellen; danach werden aber deutlich schnellere und vielfältigere Simulationen und Szenarien möglich.
