5 questions to Larissa Baier
What are you known for in the office?
Turning up the thermostat – it’s a never-ending negotiation between myself and our dear Dr. Fuchs.
What did you want to grow up to be?
A teacher – it actually matches my current role at BARC 😉
How did you come to join BARC?
I spontaneously applied 11 years ago: The job ad was a bit intimidating (“become an expert in various fields and look after numerous vendors”), but nothing ventured, nothing gained!
How do you like to spend your lunch break?
At our big lunch table with BARC colleagues from all departments where even the CEO is a regular.
What’s the coolest thing about working at BARC?
The variety: Visiting many customers and vendors in different cities and – especially – different countries. And the split of tasks between research and consulting keeps the travel from getting too much and helps maintain a good work-life balance.
